They are starting already at banana Phase 1

• If we all can think back to that time that we all were afraid to stay in our houses even coming out in the evening was becoming a taboo to us in igbe, our dear Igbe then was becoming popular all for a wrong reason. The time i am talking about was when Kidnapping was the in thing in Igbe, The commissioner of police came to Igbe and several heads of security in not only Lagos but also in Nigeria visited Igbe to see what is happening themselves. a position was taken that all the people doing business in Afa by the river should vacate the place, the Baale in council and the head of the JTF Agali have been doing a great job, formally the water ways security which was populated mainly by the Ijaws were thought to be monitoring  the creeks well, not until the Kidnapping issues surfaced in Igbe espectially in Afa, Agali said the personnel of the JTF will try their best to go into the creeks within the  local government as far as  he is still the chief security officer. now in Banana phase 1 there is already  water bathing by the river side. the process in on now for everyone selling palm wine to relocate and build their stalls by the Agungi Pako crossing to Sharp Corner in Oke eletu in ijede LCDA. people have started talking behind ooo, but the thing is that, will they not loud it for all to hear and if possible the police as me think there are   powerful people powering the process. If these people are allowed to setup their stalls at this place, then Igbe should expect more bad people to start profiling people that goes in and out of that Agungi pako crossing. our own is to drop the gist and for others to try to make amend. The baales should not look at the present gain but should look at what that link could turn into in future for the whole of Igbe and Igbogbo as the creek is now becoming more and more dangerous. with people staying by the creek bad boys would surely set up dubious businesses on that side of the town.
• Me i am saying my own ooo, if you want to contest for any post in the local government, start going out now, as people have started waka waka oo, see even women are not left behind in this rush for post, we are surely waiting for them as it will never be the same as before, this time we go drag the meat with whoever.

Having gone to the place ourselves we now have a clearer scene of what is going on at Agungi in Banana Phase 1, where Igbe have presently meet Sharp corner in Oke Eletu in Ijede LCDA.

We are already planning a full feature of  about the Agungi Plank road that is changing the face of how people in Igbe move and communicate with the outside people. The Road needs the help of everyone in Igbe and Ijede for it to be passable for vehicles
