Ijede LCDA Unified youth forum Igbe Celebrate 1 year anniversary

On Behalf of Ijede LCDA Unified youth forum Igbe Oloja zone we want to appreciate Almighty God for giving us the opportunity to celebrate our first year anniversary. Also granting us the grace to give back to the community, through the success achieved towards the rehabilitated borehole project. We say a big thank you to Almighty Allah.

We further say a big thank you to all the participants; Baale of Igbe Oloja, Baale of Oladeinde, The Eletu of oke letu, chairman of the occasion, CDC chairman of ijede LCDA,The CDAs and all dignitaries at the occasion for giving us the opportunity to use the platform and all other resources towards the achievement of the program. We appreciate you all and God bless you all.

Our heartfelt sincerity goes to all clerics and our financial supporters that makes the event to be a remarkable one, we show our love and appreciation to you all as God will perform wonders in all you shall lay your hands on.

We cannot forget the quick support we gained from the coordinator prince comrade olumide musediq, the youth exco’s and the amiable coordinators of all zones for their timely support. We pray that God will perfect all that concerns us in Jesus Name….

And to all youth members of Oloja Zone we say our kind heart toward humanity shall one day bring favour and progress to all of us.

In Igbe town, families have come together to form a big community in Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA. But something interesting is happening – some parts of Igbe feel like they belong more to Ijede LCDA. They even pray for Ijede to have a king soon. This might seem strange because everyone knows that Igbe is actually part of the Igbogbo Kingdom, ruled by Alayeluwa Oba Orimadegun Kasali who have even scheduled a visit to Igbe community soon to which have already becomes a talk of the town, since a royal visit are opportunity for showing respect to his ruler ship. It is also an opportunity for the people to let his kingship knows the various problems been faced, so it could be related to the higher authority within the state, an example is the bad roads which comes to everyone mind, some others we could get done ourselves if the roads are good.

I’ve been curious about why this is so, but it’s been hard to get answers. People don’t seem eager to talk about it. Then, I got an invitation from the coordinator of Ipetu Oloja branch of the Ijede LCDA Unified youth forum Igbe Oloja zone which is in Ijede LCDA. I was excited to go and hopefully find some answers.

The event was held at the Baale Palace, and many people from Igbe, including important figures, were there. But to my surprise, all the speakers talked only about Ijede. They didn’t mention Igbogbo at not even for once.

From what I saw, it seems like the people of Oloja in Igbe are getting more benefits from being part of Ijede LCDA. They seem more united and happy with the way things are going. At the event, I even met people over 50 who still call themselves youth!

This shows that where you live can affect the opportunities and benefits you get. Even though Igbe is part of Igbogbo Kingdom, some parts feel more connected to Ijede because they see more gains there. Understanding these differences helps us see how communities work and how we can make things better for everyone..
